Men's - GAIA Earthing Sandals - all natural with K1 copper plug

These sandals are constructed from all natural materials starting with a water buffalo leather sole, a high-quality cowhide upper, and beeswax’d 100% hemp twine sole-to-upper threading. What makes these earthing sandals so special is the durable leather sole which allows for a grounding effect across the entire bottom of the foot (unlike a rubber/synthetic sole) and then the copper plug installed at the K1 meridian point further enhances the grounding and energy harmonizing effect.

Another special characteristic of these sandals are the design and engineering of the straps. Two leather straps comfortably hug the big toe without causing any irritation in-between the big toe and index toe, while the two elastic cross straps (made of polyester and a natural+synthetic rubber combination) hold the foot firmly in place while allowing natural movement of the foot (for example going on your tip toes). The sandals fit snug but aren’t constricting, they’re incredibly comfortable and you can walk miles in them no problem. You can even jog in them without them flinging off! They’re easy to take on and off - the same as normal sandals, and they’re stylish too!

The magic of the water buffalo sole is that it is extremely durable, yet because it is a natural material, it will mold itself to the shape of your foot over time, providing maximum comfort and support while encouraging natural gait mechanics. These sandals are perfect for those who cherish natural movement, and they’re even better for those who like to explore and adventure around! The water buffalo sole is naturally a bit slick when new, so that’s why the soles are stamped with a natural grid pattern to greatly improve traction right from the start, and it only improves with time as the leather wears in. The 100% hemp twine used to stitch the sole of the sandals to the leather upper (glue is also used) is 50% more durable than cotton. Hemp is also better suited for wet conditions, and while these sandals aren’t the best for extended time in the rain, they can definitely handle some.
